Senior Azure DevOps Engineer - Wroclaw or Warsaw

Location: Hybrid work for Wroclaw and Warsaw - 1-2 days from office per week

Project Description:

We identify and implement solutions that empower developers and streamline the software development lifecycle. To achieve this, the DevOps team uses a range of tools and technologies such as Bitbucket, Jenkins, Jfrog Artifactory, Ansible AWX, XLD, XLR, and Azure services, to automate and manage the build, test, and deployment of software. Additionally, by adopting the practice of infrastructure as code (IaC), the DevOps team can manage and version all system builds and changes in a consistent and repeatable manner, ensuring that software is deployed in a stable and controlled environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Participate in SDLC and implement all DevOps procedures to support the CI/CD process including the automation of the source control, build, test, governance, deployment, monitoring, and alerting within the pipeline, adopting cloud solutions.
2. Closely partner with the security, infrastructure, and development teams to understand/recommend the solution architecture and build requirements to continue to improve the overall CI/CD pipelines.
3. Responsible for the build environment: set up new builds, resolve build issues, help coordinate complex software test environments and software releases.
4. Monitor system/application operational processes, escalating, and facilitating failure resolution as appropriate.

Mandatory Skills Description:

1. 5+ years of experience designing/developing best practice CI/CD pipelines, test automation, and release management processes.
2. Experience with Azure Cloud solutions.
3. Strong experience with administration of Windows/Linux Servers.
4. Experience with orchestration and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, Openshift).
5. Proficient in Windows batch/PowerShell, bash, python, Jenkins, Ansible/Puppet/Chef/Salt.
6. Good understanding of deployment of various platforms such as web, Windows services, Microservices, and Serverless components.
7. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative environment.

Nice-to-Have Skills Description:

1. Experience with other Cloud solutions i.e. AWS.
2. Experience working with relational databases and non-SQL, other database technologies are a plus.
3. A curiosity concerning technology and the ability to learn new systems and tools quickly.
