Role Overview:
We seek a highly skilled Senior AWS DevOps + Back End Developer with a strong focus on backend development and DevOps pipelines. You will be responsible for developing backend services and APIs primarily using Python and handling DevOps tasks on AWS. This role involves making sure that youre able to use your expertise in scripting and Python app development. You will also work with Azure DevOps as a code repository, contributing to both development and operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Backend Development:
- Develop and maintain backend services and APIs using Python, with a focus on performance and scalability.
- Implement application development in Python, ensuring clean, maintainable code and adherence to best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and build backend architectures that support efficient application operations.
DevOps:
- Manage and maintain DevOps pipelines, focusing on AWS infrastructure and services.
- Automate infrastructure deployment, monitoring, and scaling using AWS services and Python scripting.
- Utilize Azure DevOps for code repository management, ensuring smooth integration of code into production environments.
Collaboration:
- Work within an Agile framework to prioritize development tasks and DevOps activities.
- Collaborate closely with software engineers, architects, and stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of quality solutions.
Qualifications:
- Required: Proficiency in developing backend services and APIs using Python and AWS components, with a strong emphasis on scripting.
- Required: Experience in Python application development and Azure DevOps as a code repository.
- Required: Expertise in handling DevOps responsibilities in an AWS environment (60%) alongside backend development (40%).
- Nice to have: Experience working in a GxP environment, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Nice to have: Experience in developing functionalities related to GenAI, including document reading, OpenAI API integration, web scraping, and tools like Langchain/LightLLM.
