• We are looking a senior automation tester who is required to join VML Commerce and Technology’s world class teams. The individual should possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills and have an eye for detail. We require a highly-motivated individual with well-developed interpersonal skills. You will be the senior automation tester in a team of testers working on a new client engagement. You will be involved in the identification, writing, debugging and execution of automated tests and where necessary manual tests. The programme covers both Front End automation and experience of testing API’s using Playwright and Typescript.
• This role is a hybrid role and you will be required to manual test and define test cases, before deciding which to automate.

• The applicant will be system testing on new projects, ideally and be proficient in JavaScript based automation frameworks and tools or Java, Selenium Web Driver. You should have experience of creating automated regression packs covering both API and front end-based features. A good knowledge of JavaScript/ Typescript or Java is essential to this role and the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate their competence in this area.

• Extensive hands-on experience with test automation using TypeScript and Playwright.
• Knowledge and experience in Agile environments.
• Strong experience with API/Integration testing using Pytest.
• Excellent experience with visual testing automation using Playwright.
• Proficient in assessing unit tests and integration test coverage.
• Working experience with tools like Jira and Zephyr.
• Working knowledge of UNIX.
• Experience in exploratory testing and willingness to perform manual testing when required.
• Ability to identify data requirements and implement tests to achieve coverage.
• Recommend and implement improvements to the test automation framework.
• Experience in test automation within a continuous integration environment.
• Ability to collaborate in daily standups and work closely with developers.
• Effective interpersonal skills and proven ability to collaborate with all stakeholders.
• Attentive to detail and highly organised.
• Demonstrated ability to change direction and re-prioritise in a fast-paced team environment.
• Strong organisational, planning, and follow-up skills, with the ability to hold others accountable.
• Experience using Git SCM tools, such as GitHub, Bitbucket, or similar tools.

• Salary depending on presented skills: 22 000 - 27 000 PLN net on B2B contract
