As a Senor Business Analyst you will be responsible for the process of Automation implementation. This includes: providing technical solutions to end-users, analysis and design, specification, development, configuration, reporting, testing, documentation, deployment and on-going monitoring and support as well as being involved in governance modelling. Additionally, you will be responsible for implementation of automation tools available within BNP Group, with focus on Alteryx and also incl. Power BI, BNP workflow tool and other technologies within the portfolio of Business Automation Team.


Requirements:

  • Expert skills of VBA in MS Excel is essential
  • Advanced skills in Alteryx is essential
  • Advanced skills in SQL is essential
  • Experience in the maintenance, testing, development, and implementation of EUC (End User Computing) tools, procedures and guidelines to support operational processes
  • Advanced understanding of applicable data sources, tables, and data relationships
  • Basic skills in development of MS Access databases is essential
  • Advanced design skills for user interface screens, process logic and reports
  • Ability to translate design specifications into functional and efficient code
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • High attention to details
  • Good social and presentation skills
  • Teamwork orientation
  • Understanding of systems engineering concepts
  • Basic knowledge of financial instruments
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills, including technical documentation creation
  • Fluency in written and spoken English (at least B2)
  • Fluency in written and spoken French (at least B2) would be an asset
  • Familiarity with ITIL framework
  • Advanced familiarity with Atlassian stack (Jira/Confluence)
  • PowerBI / Power Automate / Power Query / React / Python and other software technologies knowledge would be considered an asset


Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and develop EUC (End User Computing) automation tools
  • Being responsible for the analysis of current business process and its redesign for highest optimisation and automation utility
  • Developing and implementing automation use cases using available tools and technologies
  • Working with business representatives in determining user requirements based on current and future needs
  • Communicating with managers to understand business needs and share status updates
  • Presenting major updates and communicate with senior stakeholders
  • Documenting project requirements in accordance with current standards
  • Designing, developing, testing, debugging and documenting applications according to the functional requirements
  • Acting as an information source for other employees whilst continuing to learn and develop technical skills
  • Providing technical and analytical expertise across multiple areas of application development
  • Supporting training and professional development for staff members as needed to perform job duties
  • Reviewing Business Automation Team delivered trainings scope and suggesting adjustments
  • Performing peer reviews, capturing review comments & tracking until closure
  • Upholding and adhering to existing governance and rules
  • Regular monitoring of current team procedural efficiency with focus on further process improvement
  • Delegating smaller tasks to Juniors and Mids
  • Participating in team strategy adjustment
  • Providing technical and soft skills coaching for less experienced team members
