Description:

Your role is to work within and help lead a multidisciplinary project team. You collaborate with other colleagues and support them in order to deliver a high-quality outcome regardless of the size of the engagement for the client. You are a key contributor, playing a central role in charting the projects direction. You mentor junior and mid-level test engineers, helping these Test Engineers develop by providing advice, coaching, and growth opportunities.



Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in test engineering
• Must have Appium, JavaScript testing experience
• Experience with Maestro or similar tooling for automating browser-based tests is a plus
• Experience working within a team developing software or supporting software development efforts
• Experience with Postman or other API automation frameworks
• Able to demonstrate automation best practices
• Experience with Jira or other test management tools

Job Responsibilities:

• You work as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
• You develop testing solutions by:
• Analyzing information needs and creating test data
• Conferring with users and engineers
• Studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes
• Investigating and understanding problem areas
• Reviewing test cases and ensuring that they align with requirements and have appropriate coverage.
• Designing test cases and performing various types of testing such as functional, integration, and end-to-end, on various platforms such as mobile devices and web browsers.
• Supporting project teams in defining suitable quality objectives and acceptance criteria.
• Participating in code reviews and providing feedback and suggestions to increase quality.
• Fulfilling all the duties of more junior test engineer team members when necessary.
