Senior Automation Engineer - port cranes

For our client, we are currently looking for candidates for the Senior Automation Engineer position.
The position is related to port cranes and the marine area.
Key Responsibilities
- Hardware activities - capability to read and design technical drawings, drive and auxiliary equipment selection, design and assess cabinet design, motor selection, PLC and IO network design.
- Drive replacement activities - new drive selection based on existing installation, pre-Parametrize drives.
- PLC replacement activities - (reverse) engineer plc program for new plc, create test plan, testing experience, peer review (Siemens).
- Commissioning - create onsite activity plan, act as site manager, supervise and participate in hands-on replacement of project scope, commission drive systems including new motor id’s, commission PLC system, testing systems, FAT with customer and/or certification body.
Qualifications and Experience
- Understanding the mechanics and mechatronics of cranes.
- Experience in electrical system projects on port cranes.
- Willing to work internationally.
- English at a communicative level in speech and writing
- Knowledge and adherence to the IEC guidelines for port cranes
