Senior Automation Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Hardware activities - capability to read and design technical drawings, drive and auxiliary equipment selection, design and assess cabinet design, motor selection, PLC and IO network design.
• Drive replacement activities - new drive selection based on existing installation, pre-Parametrize drives.
• PLC replacement activities - (reverse) engineer plc program for new plc, create test plan, testing experience, peer review.
• Commissioning - create onsite activity plan, act as site manager, supervise and participate in hands-on replacement of project scope, commission drive systems including new motor id’s, commission PLC system, testing systems, FAT with customer and/or certification body.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Experience in PLC programming (Siemens).
• Experience in electrical system projects on port cranes.
• Willing to work internationally.
• English at a communicative level in speech and writing
• Knowledge and adherence to the IEC guidelines for port cranes
