Senior AP Accountant (Global Payments)

Your responsibilities
- Preparing supplier payment proposals
- Processing payment cycles and executing manual payments through banking platforms
- Handling sensitive manual payments, such as salaries, employee reimbursements and taxes
- Communicating with both external and internal business partners to address payment inquiries
- Processing outgoing payment bookings via Accounts Payable and General Ledger modules
- Conducting month-end and year-end closing activities, including General Ledger reconciliations
- Offsetting advance payments against final invoices
- Reconciling direct debit payments with corresponding invoices
- E-mail handling, responding to queries from vendors and local business partners
- Initiating process improvements, participating in projects
Our requirements
- A university degree, preferably in Finance, Accountancy or Economics
- Required experience:
- Minimum 2 years in a financial department within an international environment for the Accountant position
- Minimum 5 years in Accounts Payable
- Excellent command of English
- Proficiency in MS Office tools
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and adapt to shifting priorities
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Optional
- Knowledge of payments processes being a plus for the Senior position

About the department
The AP team is mainly responsible for processing, booking Coloplasts liabilities, creation and updating of vendor master data, vendors invoice verification and handling invoice queries.
