We are looking for a Senior 3D Animator who excels at creating expressive, stylized, gameplay-driven animation for our AA and AAA game projects built in Unity3D.
In this role, you will:
Create clear, readable, and characterful animations that support gameplay and player feedback
Help establish animation workflows, build‑made rigs, and production standards for stylized games
Explore procedural and automated animation solutions suited for scalable and mobile‑friendly pipelines
This is a senior, hands‑on role within a fully remote and collaborative studio environment, ideal for an animator who understands game development holistically and enjoys solving complex production challenges.
Create high‑quality keyframe animations with strong posing, timing, and personality
Focus on readability, exaggeration, and clarity for real‑time gameplay
Animate characters in ways that support player control, feedback, and responsiveness
Collaborate with technical artists and riggers to help establish build‑made rigs for stylized characters
Validate rigs from an animator’s perspective and provide feedback to improve usability and deformation
Contribute to defining animation standards, naming conventions, and export guidelines
Implement animations directly in Unity3D using Animator Controllers, blend trees, and state machines
Iterate on animation behavior in‑engine to align with gameplay logic and design requirements
Support animation‑driven gameplay features and transitions
Participate in research and experimentation around procedural or semi‑automated animation workflows
Explore potential use of Houdini and other tools to support scalable animation systems
Contribute ideas for automation and efficiency within DCC‑to‑engine pipelines
Adapt animation solutions to real‑time and mobile constraints
Ensure animations are optimized for performance, memory usage, and scalability
Work closely with designers, programmers, character artists, and technical artists
Iterate on animations based on gameplay feedback, technical constraints, and production needs
Communicate intent and solutions clearly within a remote, agile workflow
5+ years of professional experience as a game animator
Experience working on stylized AA or AAA game projects
Strong animation reel focused on stylized, gameplay‑ready character animation
Clear examples of posing, timing, acting, and readability in real‑time contexts
Excellent understanding of keyframe animation principles
Strong knowledge of game‑ready rigs and real‑time animation constraints
Hands‑on experience with Maya and/or Blender
Proven experience implementing animation in Unity3D
Understanding of how animation interacts with gameplay systems and player input
Problem‑solver attitude with the ability to adapt workflows to new challenges
Interest in exploration, experimentation, and continuous improvement
Fluent English and comfort working fully remote
Experience with procedural animation or Houdini‑based workflows
Basic rigging or technical animation knowledge
Experience adapting animation pipelines for mobile games
Familiarity with DCC‑driven tools or custom Unity animation solutions
Experience working in distributed or fully remote teams
Stylized AA and AAA game projects with strong artistic identity
