Technologies we use Expected Android Java Kotlin C C++ Your responsibilities Design, build, and maintain Android framework features and system services that power company devices. Create and optimize APIs, middleware, and system-level components that enable partner applications and device functionality. Collaborate closely with application teams to translate product requirements into robust Android framework solutions. Debug and resolve framework-level issues, analyze logs, and drive performance, stability, and reliability across the platform. Work cross-functionally with hardware, firmware, and QA teams to ensure seamless end-to-end device experiences. Mentor and guide other engineers, sharing best practices for Android framework development. Employer requirements 7 years of experience in Android framework or system-level development. Strong expertise in Java and Kotlin, including concurrency (coroutines, flows). Hands-on experience with Android Services, Intents, AIDL, and IPC. Solid knowledge of Android framework components such as: ActivityManager, CameraManager, DisplayManager. Strong skills in debugging, performance tuning, and log analysis at the framework layer. Some exposure to C/C++ or native Android layers is a plus (but not required).
