Financial Control Analyst

Responsibilities

  • Financial Analysis & Reporting: responsible for reporting, forecasting, and budgeting GPMO SG&A, including but not limited to the GPMO Marketing BUs and Corporate Marketing functions.
  • Report monthly SG&A results with variance analysis explaining any changes vs. budget and prior year, keeping finance leaders and BU management team informed of the latest status.
  • Business partner to Marketing BUs and Corporate Marketing, providing SG&A details & running analyses as needed.
  • Consolidate quarterly forecast and summarize key changes, risks, and opportunities.
  • General costs controlling – monitor costs from accuracy, budget and accounting perspectives; identify and coordinate all internal cost transfers between controlling objects.
  • Continuous process improvement – proactively identify and implement automations, process standardizations and improvements.
  • Other ad hoc tasks in FP&A area.
  • Back up for other GPMO SG&A Analyst.
  • Ownership of GPMO Headcount budget; partner with Human Resources in maintaining the Headcount reporting tool; support financial costing validation of active and future headcounts; work with HR partner for monthly close reporting; coordinate updating headcount for annual budget and quarterly forecasts; provide variance analysis on a monthly basis.
  • Support GPMO annual operating plan activities; serve as a team player within the GPMO FP&A team, assisting on projects as needed.

Key Position Requirements

  • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Finance.

Job Experience

  • 3–5 years diversified financial management experience with good understanding of financial statements (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) and business profitability drivers; experience in a global company.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Languages: fluent in English and at least one other European language (written and spoken).
  • Proficient using Excel, PowerPoint. Experience in BI Tools like QlikView and Power BI is an added advantage. Working knowledge of Oracle PBCS & FCCS system.

Desirable Job Competencies

  • Good knowledge of general accounting and controlling principles.
  • Ability to work with senior stakeholders and play the role of Finance Business Partner, including providing recommendations for decision‑making process.
  • Good communicator with the ability to interact effectively with both Finance and non‑Finance stakeholders.
  • Orientation to detail, flexible and able to run/balance multiple tasks.
  • Comfortable working in a matrix organization and international setting (may include some off‑hours to accommodate different time zones).
  • Pro‑active, able to meet strict and short deadlines, with a can‑do attitude.
  • Results oriented with strong sense of integrity & professionalism.
