Job Description:

The Business Operations Senior Analyst will provide administrative and facilities support for the Poland Finance Center (PFC) in Warsaw, Poland.

This position will:

  1. Support the tasks needed for the stand-up of the PFC.
  2. Maintain administrative processes to assure efficient day-to-day operations.
  3. Prepare administrative and financial reports for the operation and local government.

What you will do:

  1. Support Statutory Accounting external provider (act as main point of contact).
  2. Perform Payroll accounting checks monthly (mapping, SOX control).
  3. Analyze monthly and quarterly Budget vs actuals performance. Drive any conversation or action required to produce better estimations.
  4. Prepare financial statements and headcount reporting of the PFC and share results with upper management.
  5. Build the annual and quarterly PFC’s Budget in coordination with different areas across PFC and project managers. Prepare quarterly forecasts.
  6. Calculate FTE average rate for intercompany billing purposes.
  7. Coordinate SLA’s and Service Fee charge out.
  8. Support internal, external or government ad-hoc requests or audits.
  9. Ensure the Cash Flow performance is healthy.
  10. Respond to general internal customer requests.
  11. Build effective relationships within PFC and other departments.
  12. Participate in team projects as required.
  13. Other duties as required.

What you will need:

  1. 4 years of relevant working General Ledger or R2R experience in SSC environment in a matrixed international company (preferably American or Multinational company).
  2. Demonstrated ability to coordinate with various departments to resolve issues.
  3. Demonstrated detail-orientation.
  4. Demonstrated ability to take initiative, learn new concepts/processes and improve current processes.
  5. Demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple simultaneous deliverables, working in a demanding environment.
  6. Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills in English and Polish.

Education & Special trainings:

  1. Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.
  2. Familiar with Sarbanes Oxley Act and Polish GAAP, knowledge of US GAAP would be an advantage.
  3. Advanced Microsoft Office skills, mainly Excel.
  4. Relevant working experience and/or knowledge of SAP.
  5. Experience using Hyperion.

Travel Percentage: 10%
