Senior AI Engineer - Contract until March 2026 - Remote (Europe)
Global Enterprise Partners is currently seeking a Senior AI Engineer to join the AI Service Delivery Team of a leading client in the energy and manufacturing sector. This is a senior technical role focused on designing and delivering enterprise-grade Generative AI solutions within an Azure-native environment.
Responsibilities:
- Define end-to-end architecture for Generative AI solutions aligned with business goals.
- Lead Azure OpenAI integration (GPT models, embedding) with prompt engineering and model tuning.
- Design scalable RAG systems using Azure AI Search, vector databases, and secure data pipelines.
- Implement MLOps and CI/CD workflows using Azure DevOps and automated testing frameworks.
- Establish Python coding standards, review code, and mentor development teams.
- Oversee deployment and governance of AI applications across Azure infrastructure.
- Design modular, scalable, and maintainable AI solutions for enterprise environments.
- Mentor and steer a team of AI engineers working on complex AI initiatives.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering and solution delivery.
- Strong proficiency in Python for AI/ML development.
- Deep expertise in Azure AI ecosystem (AI Foundry, OpenAI, Azure DevOps).
- Solid understanding of cloud-native architecture principles and enterprise security.
- Experience with RBAC and governance in Azure environments.
- Proven ability to lead teams and deliver complex AI solutions at scale.
