A rare opportunity has come up for an experienced and talented Senior Accountant (Controller) to join an ambitious and experienced team within a great product, Scandinavian company!

You will work with accounts from A-Z and be responsible for the annual accounts for the subsidiaries in the group, as well as the group accounts for the parent company. You will be expected to organize work and help in establishing and improving internal processes, standards, and policies. This position is an advocate of the overall culture, vision, and values of the company.

YOUR ROLE

• Participate in monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings
• Preparation of annual accounts and group accounts
• VAT settlement, remittance, and reconciliations
• Coordination and communication with customers and third parties such as banks, accountants, and others
• Participate in invoicing and processing of incoming invoices
• Contribute to continuous improvement and streamlining of routines and processes

IF YOU ARE A PERSON WHO

• Has gained a bachelors degree in economics, accounting, or equivalent practical experience
• Has min 3 – 5 years of relevant experience from a similar role and a very good understanding of accounting
• Has solid operational experience and strong problem-solving skills
• Is fluent in Polish and English language, ideally French as well
• Has a good understanding of systems, including good knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Is proactive, self-disciplined, and highly motivated with a well-organized work style
