We are looking for a Senior Accountant to be based in our Poznan team, who will be responsible for overseeing day‑to‑day accounting operations, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and local regulations, and supporting financial reporting at both entity and group levels. Senior Accountant takes ownership of accounting, tax compliance, and reporting. This role requires strong technical accounting knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Manage all accounting operations of the Polish legal entity in line with the Polish Accounting Act.
  • Handle daily inquiries related to general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, accruals, and fixed assets.
  • Oversee general ledger, AP/AR, fixed assets, payroll accounting.
  • Calculate and evaluate the accruals and provisions.
  • Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules and coordinate with Controlling Team all investments.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year‑end closings on time in accordance with local accounting standards and company policies.
  • Prepare and ensure accuracy for financial statements, VAT/CIT/PIT returns, and other regulatory reports.
  • Ensure accurate reconciliations between accounts, tax returns, and group reporting.
  • Support monthly reporting, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Conduct variance analysis, including KPI reporting and provide financial insights to management.
  • Align local financial statements with global reporting standards.
  • Coordinate statutory audits with external auditors.
  • Monitor changes in Polish tax legislation and assess their impact on the company.
  • Support transfer pricing documentation and reporting obligations.
  • Maintain and improve internal controls, ensuring compliance with corporate policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and act as a finance partner to the business.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Minimum 3–4 years of experience in accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of Polish GAAP, tax laws, and statutory reporting requirements.
  • Fluent in Polish and English (written and spoken).
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Comarch) and MS Excel.
  • Strong analytical skills, problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a multicultural environment.
