Grid Dynamics is looking for a Senior Accountant .

Essential Functions

1. Enter and upload invoices into accounts payable system
2. Assemble, review, and verify vendor invoices
3. Communicate with external vendors
4. Flag and clarify any unusual or questionable invoice items or prices
5. Set up invoices for payment
6. Process expense reports
7. Create new Journal Entries in ERP system, and edit existing ones, where needed
8. Allocate expenses for various analytical reporting
9. Assist with posting and allocation of Corporate Credit Card transactions
10. Prepare accounts reconciliations
11. Maintain amortization schedules for prepaids
12. Be responsible for contact management in corporate system
13. Perform SOX compliance procedures related to purchase to payable cycle
14. Potential supervision of junior accountants
15. Work as integral part of accounting team on monthly closing, under tight deadlines
16. Assist in preparation of weekly and monthly management reporting
17. Provide support in preparation of weekly reports to management on consolidated cash balances, accounts payable analysis
18. Interface with departments outside of Finance to provide timely financial information, and to help facilitate effective communication
19. Gather supporting documents requested by auditors, to support various audits throughout the year, and assist in responding to auditor questions
20. Participate in processes improvements
21. Prepare ad hoc analytical reports
22. Assist in various ongoing and ad-hoc projects or initiatives requested by management

Qualifications

1. Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration
2. 3-5 years of professional experience
3. Public Audit experience is preferable
4. Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles (Local accounting standards/IFRS/US GAAP)
5. Experience in e-banking systems
6. Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
7. Fluent in English and in MS Office
8. Good communication skills and positive attitude
9. High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
10. Ability to work required overtime during critical periods under tight deadlines, such as month/quarter/year end reporting or special projects
11. Flexible working hours due to time zone difference
