Purpose of the Job

The Senior Account Manager will work alongside the team to ensure solutions are developed and delivered on time and against operational and financial business targets. This individual also needs to be a strong leader who can focus on the vision and strategies of the account while managing the tactical components of running the daily business. Balance daily support needs with long‑term strategy and successfully combine vision and reality into effective plans.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver operational excellence.
  • Deliver effective growth strategies and manage the opportunities for these clients.
  • Manage and develop key client relationships.
  • Own the project cycle and lead the pitch.
  • Achieve and excel growth targets and savings commitments.
  • Maintain an excellent standard of communication with existing clients and develop relationships and ways of working with new clients, coordinating and liaising with the regional team and operations team to deliver your objectives.
  • Be a confident self‑starter with excellent communication, relationship building and organizational skills.
  • Combine client relationship management and strategic planning as well as driving excellent project delivery for clients.
  • Strong client‑facing presentation skills are essential as is a strategic outlook and the ability to question the norm and think outside of the box.
  • This role is based on a Hybrid basis from the stated HH Global location(s).

Key Responsibilities – Detailed

  • Strong understanding of all POSM categories; proactively find opportunities by looking for the best way of maximizing delivery for the brand and driving this with our clients.
  • Work with strategic sourcing and strategic suppliers to deliver the best solutions.
  • Influence client thinking to produce outstanding results.
  • Intuitive understanding of operations and be able to direct strategy and work with the teams.
  • Attend WIPs and meetings and take/influence key briefs from clients showing a clear understanding of requirements and cascade to greater team.
  • Deliver excellent service to client with a professional ‘can do’ attitude at all times.
  • Develop and maintain excellent relationships with key contacts.
  • Provide technical input and advice on projects as required to achieve high quality standards.

Knowledge, Skills + Experience

  • Strong client service experience and built credible customer relationships at senior level.
  • Sound financial reporting and forecasting experience.
  • Good understanding of Marketing Services concepts.
  • Comfortable analysing and interpreting financial data and produce accurate reports.
  • Work collaboratively with others in pursuit of team goals.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Takes a logical and systematic approach to work.
  • Takes a flexible approach to work and encourages others to do so.
  • Strong negotiation and consensus building skills when dealing with internal customers, stakeholders and team members.
  • Ability to understand current/changing business strategy and participate in delivering it.
  • Can identify business issues and develop risk mitigation strategies.
  • Ability to deal with the ambiguity associated with working in a fast paced and changing environment.
  • Exceptional communication, problem solving and cross‑group collaboration skills.
  • Strong presentation skills, ability to present convincingly to a senior audience.
  • Excellent analysis and critical thinking skills.
