Your responsibilities

  • Performing tests of Phoenix Contact devices in the matter of Cybersecurity
  • Definition/selection of suitable test approaches regarding normative requirements
  • Selection of required test tools
  • Planning of the test road map including regression test and considering the feature release planning of the project
  • Planning the test effort and required time regarding product requirements and specifications.
  • Interaction and close communication with the project manager, product
  • development and software and firmware development
  • Constant development of skills in the Cybersecurity field

Our requirements

  • Master’s degree (IT, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation or related)
  • Excellent written and spoken English (min. B2 level)
  • At least three years of job experience in software development
  • Practical experience with embedded systems, version control tools (GIT, SVN),
  • Python, C, C++ programming, white/black-box testing and test automation
  • Knowledge about Systems Engineering and Requirements Management
  • Understanding of application development and knowledge about common attack vectors
  • Ability to solve problems independently and openness to dive into new topics
  • Willingness to occasionally travel to the company headquarters in Germany for training and project coordination

Optional

  • Experience in Cybersecurity (as a tester or a developer)
  • Experience working in software automation
  • Experience working in Quality & Compliance
  • Experience with embedded hardware development
  • Knowledge about Fieldbus communication (Modbus/TCP, Ethernet/IP, Profinet, EtherCat, IO-Link)
  • Experience with reviewing of specifications, architectures and code
