Security Tester for Cybersecurity Laboratory (Applications)
- Prepare and perform security tests for Phoenix Contact products
- Develop standards and guidelines for security testing and validating software and firmware solutions in our systems
- Execute test protocols precisely according to described processes
- Assure that product testing is being performed according to developed and approved standards
- Test results review and interpretation
- Create framework for quality documentation that reflects tests performance
- Test documentation compliance with technical and normative framework conditions
- Develop solution strategy to achieve desired product security capability
- Assure quality of performed tests
- Analyze and report on the security incidents
- Support process of validation product security compliance
- Support analysis of software bugs
Our Requirements
- Master’s degree in computer science, Cybersecurity, information technology or similar field. Alternative: Specialized security training programs focusing on penetration testing and secure application development.
- At least three years of experience in software development or software testing.
- Excellent written and spoken English (min. B2 level).
- In-depth knowledge in the topic of Cybersecurity, threat analysis, and code review.
- Proficiency with tools such as NMAP, Burp Suite, OWASP ZAP.
- Familiarity with Python/Java programming languages.
- CI/CD Pipeline and OWASP Framework experience.
- Understanding of application development and knowledge about common attack vectors.
- Ability to solve problems independently and openness to dive into new topics in an analytical, structured, and solution-oriented way of working.
- Willingness to occasionally travel to the company headquarters in Germany for training and project coordination.
- Security-relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, CISM, CEH, CISA, CySA+, CCSP, OSCP, GPEN, OSWE, CPTS.

- Industry experience in Security Testing.
