We are looking for a highly skilled Security researcher to join our team.

Responsibilities and Requirements

• At least Master degree is preferred in one of the following specializations: Electrical / Electronics / Computer / Telecommunication Engineering (PhD will be a plus)
• Good command of knowledge in security domain of wireless networks (techniques, research)
• Past experience in pursuing security innovations (e.g. patents) will be a plus
• Good knowledge of security in telecommunication networks (NESAS, 3GPP security, ETSI ISG NFV, O-RAN security)
• Good knowledge of O-RAN interfaces and security threats in 5G/6G networks
• Good knowledge of radio network stack (OSI/ISO models)
• Ability to independently pursue own work in collaborative environment
• Good command of English language is mandatory
• Past experience with research under EU-funded programs (e.g., Horizon Europe, SNS-JU, EDF) will be a plus

Technical Expertise

• Minimum 3-4 years telecommunication industry experience
• Strong background in security frameworks for wireless networks (e.g. ZTA, security by design)
• Practical experiences with designing/defining security mechanisms for 4G/5G (e.g. for jamming, DDoS, cloud security with K8/Docker, TLS/IPSec)
• Security threats modeling and understanding of protection techniques
• 3GPP knowledge is preferable
• Strong Knowledge on AI/ML based security approaches will be an advantage
• Good background on cyber security, Post quantum cryptography (PQC), Quantum key distribution (QKD) will be an advantage
