The Senior Security Network Engineer plays a key role in designing, securing, and continuously improving the company’s global network infrastructure. This position combines deep technical expertise with strategic insight, ensuring that all network components and connections — both on-premise and in the cloud — are aligned with modern cybersecurity standards and business requirements.
The Senior Engineer serves as a subject-matter expert for network and perimeter security, leading initiatives to strengthen resilience, reduce risk, and support secure digital transformation across the organization.
responsibilities :
Perform advanced analysis of the network environment, identifying vulnerabilities, misconfigurations, and optimization opportunities in firewall and network security policies
Design, implement, and maintain secure network architectures, covering LAN/WAN, hybrid cloud connectivity, and remote access solutions
Provide expert-level operational support for critical network security platforms, ensuring availability, scalability, and compliance with internal and external standards
Lead or co-lead projects related to the rollout of network security solutions, segmentation frameworks, or zero-trust network initiatives
Develop and maintain security baselines, technical guidelines, and best practices for network and perimeter security
Collaborate closely with architecture, infrastructure, and cloud teams to integrate network security controls into enterprise systems
Conduct periodic reviews of firewall and routing policies, ensuring alignment with security strategy and minimizing risk exposure
Support incident response activities, providing in-depth network analysis and contributing to root-cause investigations
Mentor junior engineers, promoting knowledge sharing and continuous improvement within the team
Stay up to date with emerging threats, technologies, and frameworks (e.g., Zero Trust, SASE, SD-WAN, network micro-segmentation)
requirements-expected :
Extensive experience (typically 5–8+ years) in network and perimeter security engineering in complex, multi-site or hybrid environments
Proven expertise with Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW), including policy design, traffic analysis, and security feature implementation (preferably Palo Alto or Check Point)
Strong understanding of network infrastructure components and services: DNS, DHCP, IPAM, VPN, routing, and switching
Hands-on experience with cloud networking and security (Microsoft Azure preferred; AWS/GCP experience beneficial)
Ability to architect secure connectivity solutions, including segmentation, access control, and encryption mechanisms
Analytical and conceptual thinking, with the ability to challenge existing solutions and propose well-reasoned alternatives
Experience working in regulated environments (Healthcare, Manufacturing, or similar) and knowledge of compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, NIS2, GDPR)
Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across global teams
