Security Manager

For one of our client, we are looking for Security Manager, who will manage small team and will be responsible for technical support of team and all projects and activities connected with security in organization.Role is based in Warsaw with hybrid model of work.

• Strategic Security Management: Develop, implement, and monitor a strategic, comprehensive enterprise information security and IT risk management program.
• Risk Assessment & Management: Work directly with business units to facilitate risk assessment and risk management processes, including the management of patch updates and vulnerability patches to mitigate security risks.
• Security Architecture: Plan, research, and design robust security architectures for IT projects, including the management and configuration of firewalls and EDR solutions.
• Patch Management: Develop and oversee a robust patch management strategy to ensure the timely identification, testing, and application of patches across all systems and software, minimizing vulnerabilities.
• EDR Solutions Management: Deploy, manage, and fine-tune EDR solutions to ensure real-time analysis of threats, providing proactive defense against advanced threats and malware.
• Firewall Administration: Conduct regular reviews of firewall configurations, rule sets, and policies to ensure they are optimized for security and comply with industry best practices. Interpret and modify firewall rules to protect the organization from threats while ensuring business continuity.
• Incident Response & Investigation: Monitor networks and systems for security breaches using advanced security software tools, investigate security breaches and other cybersecurity incidents with a clear methodology, and lead the incident response process.
• Security Awareness & Training: Partner with stakeholders across the company to raise awareness of risk management concerns and conduct regular security awareness training sessions.
• Vendor & Stakeholder Coordination: Coordinate security plans with outside vendors and internal stakeholders, ensuring that security measures are integrated into technological solutions and business processes.

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, with a strong preference for advanced certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA.
• Demonstrable experience in security management roles with in-depth knowledge of patch management strategies, EDR solutions, and firewall administration.
• Expertise in developing and maintaining enterprise information security programs.
• Proficient in risk assessments, vulnerability assessments, and in the design of security architectures.
• Solid understanding of information security standards, rules, and regulations.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
