Security Engineer - Retailer Security

We are currently seeking an experienced Security Engineer - Retailer Security on behalf of our client. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Retailer Security ArchitectureDeliverable: Design and document a scalable security architecture for retailer environments (POS,local networks, cloud)Frequency: Initial design + annual review
• Security Hardening GuidelinesDeliverable: Develop and maintain security configuration baselines and hardening guidesFrequency: Quarterly updates
• Vulnerability ManagementDeliverable: Implement scanning and patching processes for retailer systemsFrequency: Monthly scans + remediation reports
• Incident Response PlaybooksDeliverable: Create and test incident response procedures tailored to retailer threatsFrequency: Bi-annual review + quarterly drills
• Security Awareness & TrainingDeliverable: Deliver targeted training and awareness materials for retailer staffFrequency: Bi-annual sessions + ad hoc updates
• Security Monitoring & ReportingDeliverable: Deploy monitoring tools and generate regular security posture reportsFrequency: Continuous monitoring + monthly reporting

• Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar position
• Proven experience in security engineering, preferably in retail or distributed environments
• Strong knowledge of network security, endpoint protection, and incident response
• Familiarity with compliance standards (e.g., ISO 27001, PCI-DSS)
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Fluency in English and Polish, both written and verbal (minimum B2 level)
