JOB PURPOSE:
The Secondary Math Tutor will work with a current high school student with moderate academic needs in the area of mathematics. This position is not an employee of ISK, but rather is paid directly by the family. The Secondary Math Private Tutor would have the opportunity to coordinate services and support with the Learning Support Staff at ISK.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
● Use various strategies and techniques to support the student’s ability to participate in an online math class course to the greatest extent possible.
● Collect data on the student’s goals for the purpose of maintaining accurate records and engaging in data-based decision-making.
● Participate in parent meetings with the Learning Support Case Manager as necessary.
● Work cooperatively with parents to create strong partnerships.
