SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test) Miejsce pracy: Warszawa Technologies we use Expected Python REST API SQL MySQL Jira About the project Industry: Global Payments / Financial Technology Location: Warsaw or Gdańsk, Poland Working mode: Hybrid (1 day per week from the office) Rate: up to 1,100 PLN to the candidate About the role Join a global leader in the payments and financial technology industry as an SDET. You’ll work on scalable, high-availability systems used worldwide, collaborating with international engineering and QA teams to ensure top-quality software delivery. Your responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Python and frameworks such as Pytest Create detailed test cases and test plans based on Jira stories and requirements Perform UI automation testing using Playwright Conduct API testing for RESTful services Validate data using SQL/MySQL or other relational databases Use Robot Framework (nice to have) Collaborate closely with developers and QA teams to ensure high-quality releases Participate in Scrum ceremonies aligned with EST timezone (later shift availability required) Our requirements 3 years of experience in test automation Strong Python programming skills and experience with Python-based test frameworks Hands-on experience with REST API testing and UI automation Solid understanding of SQL/MySQL and relational databases Experience using Jira for test case and defect management Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to resolve automation issues efficiently
