About the role
Join a global leader in the payments and financial technology industry as an SDET. You’ll work on scalable, high-availability systems used worldwide, collaborating with international engineering and QA teams to ensure top-quality software delivery.
responsibilities :
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Python and frameworks such as Pytest
Create detailed test cases and test plans based on Jira stories and requirements
Perform UI automation testing using Playwright
Conduct API testing for RESTful services
Validate data using SQL/MySQL or other relational databases
Use Robot Framework (nice to have)
Collaborate closely with developers and QA teams to ensure high-quality releases
Participate in Scrum ceremonies aligned with EST timezone (later shift availability required)
requirements-expected :
3+ years of experience in test automation
Strong Python programming skills and experience with Python-based test frameworks
Hands-on experience with REST API testing and UI automation
Solid understanding of SQL/MySQL and relational databases
Experience using Jira for test case and defect management
Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to resolve automation issues efficiently
