You will design, build, and maintain automation frameworks and ensure high-quality delivery of scalable software systems used by millions of users worldwide. Title: SDET (Python Automation Engineer) – B2B Contract Location: Poland ( Hybrid) Industry: Global Payments & Financial Technology Work Model: B2B Contract Type: Long-term contract Shift: Late shift required (aligning with EST Scrum meetings) Responsibilities Develop, maintain, and optimize automated test scripts using Python and frameworks such as Pytest (or similar). Create test cases, test plans , and documentation based on Jira stories and requirements. Perform UI automation using Playwright . Perform API automation for RESTful microservices. Use SQL/MySQL for database validation and data-driven test cases. Work with Robot Framework (experience is a strong plus). Troubleshoot automation failures quickly and effectively. Collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering teams. Participate in EST-based Scrum ceremonies (later shift availability required). Requirements 3 years in test automation. Strong hands-on Python coding and experience with Python-based test frameworks. Experience with REST API automation . Knowledge of UI automation (Playwright preferred). Strong SQL/MySQL knowledge for backend validation. Experience with Jira for test case management. Ability to debug automation issues efficiently. Good communication and ability to work in cross-border teams. Nice to Have Experience with Robot Framework . Experience in the payments/fintech/banking domain. Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
