About the project
As a Scrum Master, you will be responsible for facilitating and ensuring smooth cooperation and communication among multiple teams situated in Lodz and Frankfurt, as well as collaborating effectively with other teams within the cluster based in Prague.
You will play a crucial role in guiding and supporting the teams to adhere to agile practices, fostering a constructive and efficient environment that promotes continuous improvement and successful delivery of projects.
Your leadership will be essential in resolving impediments, coordinating cross-team efforts, and ensuring that all teams are aligned with the overall project goals and timelines. In this senior capacity, you will leverage your expertise to mentor team members, advocate for agile principles, and drive the implementation of best practices to achieve optimal performance and high-quality outcomes across the teams.
Your responsibilities
- Facilitating Scrum Events: Ensure that daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives occur and are effective
- Coaching the Team: Guide the team on Agile and Scrum practices to improve efficiency, quality, and collaboration
- Removing Impediments: Actively identify and remove barriers that prevent the team from achieving their goals
- Supporting Product Owners: Help the Product Owners in their duties and responsibilities
- Promoting Transparency: Ensure that information radiators are up-to-date and visible to facilitate transparency and communication
- Performance Monitoring: Track and measure team performance using Scrum metrics like velocity and burn-down charts
- Stakeholder Management: Engage with stakeholders across the organization to ensure alignment and address any concerns or needs.
- Continuous Improvement: Foster an environment where continuous improvement is prioritized, including encouraging experiments to enhance team efficiency
- Alternative Tasks and/or (depending on demand):
- Cross-Team Coordination: Facilitate collaboration and coordination between different teams, especially if working within a larger Agile framework such as SAFe
- Tool Management: Manage and administer the Agile tools (like Jira, Confluence) used by the team to ensure they are being utilized effectively
- Reporting: Create and present reports for management and stakeholders regarding team progress, impediments, and other metrics
- Agile Advocacy: Champion Agile practices and values throughout the organization, promoting a cultural shift towards Agile methodologies
- Conflict Resolution: Mediate any conflicts within the team to maintain a healthy and collaborative work environment
- Market Trends Monitoring: Keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends in Agile and Scrum, and introduce relevant practices to the team.
Our requirements
- High knowledge of Scrum Framework (e.g. PSM I/II Certificate)
- Good knowledge of Agile Methods (e.g. SAFe)
- Familiarity with JIRA/Confluence
- English B2/C1 level – it is our business language
- German B2+ level
