As a Scrum Master, you will be working for our client, a leading global financial institution undertaking a major transformation of their Core Banking Applications. This project aims to enhance the quality and customer satisfaction of banking services worldwide. You will be facilitating agile practices within a development team, focusing on delivering both regulatory and strategic projects. Your role will involve promoting an agile culture and ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements while challenging existing processes to drive continuous improvement.

Your main responsibilities:

• Facilitating agile ceremonies and ensuring effective team collaboration
• Guiding the team through regulatory and discretionary projects
• Promoting and implementing agile practices within a highly regulated environment
• Managing project backlogs and prioritizing tasks in collaboration with stakeholders
• Using Jira and Confluence to track progress and manage workflows
• Driving continuous improvement and challenging existing processes
• Supporting team members in overcoming obstacles and achieving their goals
• Communicating effectively with diverse teams across different regions

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master for multiple teams
• Proficiency in Jira and Confluence
• PSM I or CSM certification
• Proven experience with agile and Scrum methodologies
• Experience working with diverse teams and cultures
• Ability to work effectively in a strongly regulated industry
• Strong facilitation and team management skills

It is a strong plus if you have:

• A technical background as a software developer
• Knowledge of other agile approaches or frameworks beyond Scrum
• Experience as a team leader or influencer
• Experience working in an international environment
• Previous experience in the financial sector
