As a Scrum Master, you will be assigned to our client – a renowned Investment Bank. You will look inwardly to the team and help them to self-manage, remove blockers, and help the team follow and improve their Agile practices.



You will join the technology team, which works closely with the Bank’s global businesses to help design and build digital services that allow millions of customers around the world to bank quickly, simply, and securely.

Responsibilities



  • Coaching and leadership responsibilities that enable Agile delivery, including facilitating team meetings such as retrospectives, reviews, and planning events
  • Removing impediments to optimise work throughput of the team
  • Cooperating with the Product Owner and Business Analyst to re-prioritise the backlog as and when there are changes in scope or bugs arise or any issues surface
  • Delivery Management
  • Generating and tracking team level metrics and creating visual controls/radiators for them. Communicating these metrics to stakeholders
  • Helping the team focus on continuous improvement, take responsibility for their actions, and mentoring team members to become problem solvers for themselves
  • Continually identifying toil on the team’s performance, and working with the team or stakeholders to resolve it
  • Championing new ways of working in the Value Stream/Enabler model
  • Ensuring collaborative ways of working with other teams across the department



Qualifications



  • Ability to provide supportive leadership and influence global teams
  • Outstanding technology leadership experience
  • Experience in and working understanding of software delivery lifecycle
  • Experience of Agile at-scale methods using DevOps tools and processes
  • Demonstrable success in understanding and delivering towards customer needs in large, complex organisations
  • Commercially aware and understands digital platforms, services, and underlying processes to fulfil
  • Leading and directing executive and non-executive work groups and effecting change through people
  • Great communication skills
  • Fluent English



Optional



  • An Agile certification such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM)
  • Experience in working as an analyst on projects
