Mission Statement:

We are on the hunt for a Regulatory Compliance Data Governance Specialist who is passionate about fostering a data-centric culture within our Supply Chain Management (SCM) Function. This pivotal role is a cornerstone in sculpting our SCM regulatory compliance data governance framework, aiming to elevate data quality for precise reporting to authorities and enhance overall data management.

You are a tenacious, experienced data governance professional with a ‘can-do’ attitude. You excel in delivering high-value work, ensuring efficiency and consistency in our processes, and you have a sharp eye for identifying improvement opportunities. With the energy and aptitude to operate on an international stage, you are comfortable collaborating with diverse stakeholders and are adept at balancing strategic initiatives with operational tasks to drive success.

This role reports directly to the Head of Change Management and Continuous Improvement and is an integral part of a dynamic, global SCM Regulatory Compliance Team spread across various geographies.

Your Responsibilities:

  1. Analyze the current data landscape, pinpointing master data challenges that affect regulatory compliance delivery.
  2. Envision and actualize a ‘best in class’ master data future state.
  3. Craft and execute global master data management strategies, policies, and procedures to safeguard data accuracy, consistency, and integrity.
  4. Establish and uphold data quality standards, perform regular audits, and partner with teams to rectify data issues.
  5. Support the utilization of GTS module at BU level to collect required import and export data.
  6. Partner with the Global Trade Data Analytics Team to guarantee data extraction’s accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.
  7. Conduct data quality monitoring and gap analysis.
  8. Collaborate with CTCO or BU to amend data quality discrepancies.
  9. Act as a Business Requestor for projects enhancing solutions to comply with new regulations.
  10. Educate business units on data improvement and foster collaborative improvement efforts.
  11. Train end-users on master data management best practices and tools.
  12. Leverage data analytics tools, such as the Celonis app, to identify data quality risks and formulate key risk indicators.
  13. Develop and track data quality metrics and performance indicators using the Celonis dashboard.
  14. Secure Senior Management endorsement for master data management strategies and collaborate with BUs for implementation.
  15. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to refine master data processes, workflows, and systems.
  16. Stay abreast of industry trends, regulations, and emerging technologies in master data management.

Your Background:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in information systems or a related discipline.
  2. 3 to 5 years’ experience in data governance, data quality improvement, and master data, with a focus on product and material data.
  3. Proficient analytical skills and experience with data analytics tools.
  4. Familiarity with S/4HANA, PLM, and other relevant systems.
  5. Preferred project management experience.
  6. A strategic mindset, meticulous attention to detail, and a proactive stance on data governance and regulatory compliance.
  7. Proficiency in managing complex data systems and upholding the highest data quality and integrity standards.
  8. Exceptional training and collaborative abilities.
  9. A commitment to continuous learning and staying informed on industry developments.
  10. A proven track record in risk identification, analysis, and management.
  11. Desirable certifications in data management, governance, or risk.
  12. Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required; additional languages are beneficial.
