Independently perform bioinformatics analyses (omics- or image-based), including data quality control, processing, and visualization.
Develop, adapt, and maintain scripts for routine and project-specific analyses.
Document, interpret, and report analysis results with minimal supervision.
Prepare and present results to internal stakeholders and project teams.
Address internal client feedback and implement requested changes to analyses or workflows.
Contribute to the development, optimization, and standardization of bioinformatics pipelines.
Collaborate closely with scientists within interdisciplinary research teams, supporting cross-functional project activities.
Wymagania
Education: MSc or PhD in a relevant field such as Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Data Science, Biostatistics, or related disciplines.
Background in bioinformatics, gained either through completed studies in this area or/and through professional experience in a bioinformatics-related role.
Programming skills: experience with R/Shiny and/or Python, as well as basic knowledge of UNIX/Linux — basic programming skills are an absolute must; more advanced skills are expected depending on seniority level.
Fluent English, enabling effective communication in an international scientific environment.
Strong team-oriented mindset with well-developed collaboration and communication skills.
Analytical and creative approach to problem-solving, with the ability to work effectively under time pressure.
Curiosity, willingness to learn, and motivation to grow within a developing bioinformatics team.
