• We are looking for experienced Scala Developers who would join our Competency Center Digital and get involved in an international project for global payment service provider.
• Engineering team will be responsible for building and maintaining cutting-edge backend systems that process large volumes of real-time financial transactions. As a Scala Developer, you will contribute to the development of a scalable and resilient technology platform designed to meet the demanding needs of a major financial institution.

• Design and develop backend applications using Scala (2 and 3) and Akka Streams, enabling efficient processing of asynchronous, distributed data flows
• Build scalable services capable of handling high-throughput transactional workloads in real-time environments
• Write and maintain robust unit and integration tests to ensure code quality, performance, and reliability
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and contribute to key architectural decisions within the team
• Work cross-functionally with DevOps, QA, and other development teams to ensure seamless delivery and integration of services

• Min. 3 years of commercial experience in the development of scalable web applications in Scala
• Hands-on experience with Akka
• Good knowledge of SQL and NoSQL
• Advanced level of English enabling daily communication in an international team
• Residing in Poland required
