As a Scala Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing a range of data-driven solutions for the Group Financial Crime Prevention unit. The role involves developing streaming applications that connect to both internal and external data sources, as well as enabling advanced analytics pipelines. These pipelines will generate clean, transformed datasets that support multiple products within the Financial Crime sector.
responsibilities :
Develop distributed, highly parallel Big Data processing pipelines to handle massive volumes of structured and unstructured data in near real-time
Utilize Spark to enrich and transform corporate data for searching, data visualization, and advanced analytics
Collaborate with DevOps, QA, and Product Management teams in a Continuous Delivery environment
requirements-expected :
Strong experience with Scala and Spark
Familiarity with the Hadoop ecosystem, including YARN, EMR, Sqoop, Hive, Kafka (desirable but not mandatory), and Impala
Knowledge of Jenkins, JIRA, Bitbucket, and Git
