Lead SCADA and EMS/PMS concept design and implementation within our Construction team for Greenvolt Power Group assets in Poland – with a view to future roll‑outs across the EU.
Key responsibilities
- Act as the technical lead for implementing SCADA and EMS/PMS systems on Greenvolt Power projects (wind, PV, BESS) in Poland, with future expansion across the EU.
- Define concepts and requirements for SCADA, EMS/PMS and other remote monitoring & control systems across tender, design and execution phases.
- Develop standards and functional specifications for SCADA, EMS, IT/OT and cybersecurity, and support the team in their deployment.
- Set requirements for IT–OT/SCADA integration (remote access & control, cybersecurity); co‑create tender evaluation criteria; review bids, execution documentation, testing and acceptance requirements; verify as‑built documentation.
- Be present on site during implementation: coordinate designers, contractors and supervision; manage approvals with system operators; oversee FAT/SAT and acceptances.
- Provide discipline oversight during project delivery; coordinate with internal IT and Asset Management to implement cybersecurity policies, standards and directives; align SCADA scope and documentation with system operators’ requirements.
- Partner with IT and Asset Management during commissioning; support cybersecurity procedures and plans; oversee OT‑security audits.
What you bring
- University degree in Electronics, Automation, Power Engineering, Computer Science or a related field; basic PLC knowledge.
- 2+ years of experience in energy and/or SCADA, automation, IT/OT or a related field.
- Nice to have: experience in the energy sector and/or protection/industrial automation; familiarity with IT/OT/SCADA networks, cybersecurity fundamentals, communication standards (including IEC 61850) and DSO/TSO interconnection procedures.
- Understanding of security best practices; hands‑on exposure to OT/SCADA will be a strong plus.
- Strong collaboration, documentation and vendor‑management skills; ease working across engineering, IT and operations teams.
