Client: Our client is a Danish company that specialises in the development, construction, and operation of renewable energy parks. Activities span across wind, solar, hydrogen, biogas, power to heat, and battery solutions.
responsibilities :
Implement and test energy parks within EWEs SCADA systems.
Verify the collection of data from energy park devices in the SCADA systems and facilitate the transfer of necessary data to traders
Confirm that SCADA systems and traders can effectively control devices within energy parks
Provide support to the operations department to optimize the use of SCADA systems
Implementation of energy parks in SCADA systems (e.g. configuration of signals, commands and logs; scripting; dashboards; tests)
Troubleshoot and handle issues related to missing data or control of devices in energy parks in SCADA systems
Report to and test fixes from external SCADA suppliers
Suggest and implement enhanced monitoring and alarming
Optimize work and processes related to SCADA systems
Training and support for internal SCADA users within the company
Dentification of suitable SCADA systems for new types of assets and new renewable technologies
requirements-expected :
Relevant education in automation, electronics, high voltage, or related fields. For example, a degree in engineering, a mechanical engineer, or an electrical engineer.
Experience with the following SCADA system: SPRECON-V460 (Zenon or Sicam 230)
Experience in configuring, programming/scripting, and testing SCADA systems.
Experience with high voltage environments
Fluent in English, with German being a plus.
Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (e.g. OPC UA, IEC 104, Modbus)
Familiarity with networks and communication infrastructure.
Understanding of the energy sector and renewable energy technologies is an advantage.
Experience with the following SCADA systems is an advantage: ROTORsoft/PowerLimiter, Miscout/Ovation Green
