Job Description:

A SAP S4HANA solution architect is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing SAP S4HANA solutions for various business scenarios. They work closely with business analysts, functional consultants, developers, and other stakeholders to understand the business requirements, define the solution architecture, and oversee the technical delivery of the SAP S4HANA projects.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design and develop SAP S4HANA solutions that meet the business needs and align with the best practices and standards.
• Provide technical guidance and support to the project team and ensure the quality and performance of the SAP S4HANA solutions.
• Lead and facilitate workshops, meetings, and discussions with the business and technical teams to gather and validate the requirements, scope, and objectives of the SAP S4HANA projects.
• Create and maintain the solution architecture documents, blueprints, diagrams, and specifications that describe the SAP S4HANA solutions.
• Coordinate and collaborate with the SAP S4HANA functional consultants, developers, testers, and other solution architects to ensure the integration and compatibility of the SAP S4HANA solutions with the existing systems and processes.
• Research and evaluate the latest SAP S4HANA technologies, features, and innovations and provide recommendations and feedback to the project team and the management.
• Identify and resolve the technical issues, risks, and challenges that arise during the SAP S4HANA projects and provide timely and effective solutions.
• Provide training and mentoring to the junior SAP S4HANA solution architects and developers and share the best practices and lessons learned.
• Participate in the development of high-level business strategy and translate it into technical solutions.
• Review existing systems to identify opportunities for improvement or replacement.
• Develop diagrams and models to illustrate how data flows within an organization’s information systems.
• Work with other members of an organization’s IT department to implement new business solutions.
• Identify new technologies that could be incorporated into existing solutions or developing new solutions based on emerging technologies.
• Coordinate with other departments such as operations or human resources to ensure that new solutions meet the needs of end users.
• Establish project budgets and timelines to ensure that projects are completed according to schedule.
• Perform feasibility studies to determine whether proposed solutions are viable.
• Define and document the overall solution architecture.
• Work together with stakeholders to comprehend their needs and requirements.
• Evaluate and select appropriate technologies and platforms for the solution.

Requirements:

• At least 10 years of experience in SAP consulting, with expertise in S4 HANA implementations and migrations.
• Strong knowledge of SAP S4 HANA best practices, architecture, and functionalities, including finance, logistics, analytics, and cloud.
• Ability to design and deliver end-to-end solutions that meet the business requirements and objectives of the clients.
• Experience in leading and managing teams of consultants, developers, and analysts across multiple projects and geographies.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interact with senior stakeholders and facilitate workshops and trainings.
• Certification in SAP S4 HANA or relevant modules is preferred.
