Key Responsibilities
Solution Leadership
- Lead SAP SCM solution architecture across modules such as MM, WM/EWM, PP, PM, QM, and IBP/S&OP where applicable.
- Translate defence supply chain requirements into robust SAP designs covering inventory, procurement, equipment management, and logistics.
- Ensure the SAP SCM landscape supports defence‑specific needs, including controlled items, asset traceability, maintenance of mission‑critical equipment, and classified supply chains.
- Develop and maintain solution roadmaps, process models, and functional architecture.
Project & Programme Delivery
- Lead the end-to-end SAP SCM workstream across requirements gathering, blueprinting, configuration, testing, and deployment.
- Coordinate with technical teams, data migration, integration architects, and vendors.
- Produce functional documentation including specifications, test scripts, training materials, and security‑controlled artefacts.
- Manage risks, dependencies, and cross‑functional integration with Finance, HR, Procurement, and Asset/Engineering workstreams.
- Oversee secure change‑control processes aligned with defence governance.
Stakeholder Management
- Act as the primary liaison between supply chain/logistics stakeholders, programme leadership, and SAP delivery teams.
- Facilitate workshops with military, engineering, procurement, and logistics stakeholders to validate requirements.
- Communicate solution impacts, design decisions, and delivery status to senior programme leadership.
Compliance, Security, and Assurance
- Ensure SCM processes and configurations comply with defence security protocols, export controls, GDPR, audit, and classified data‑handling requirements.
- Support assurance reviews, technical audits, and documentation required for MOD or defence‑prime governance structures.
- Work with SAP Security/GRC teams to ensure proper access control and segregation of duties.
Operational Readiness & Support
- Provide expert guidance during cutover, go‑live, and hypercare.
- Lead root‑cause analysis for supply chain issues affecting operational outputs.

- Experience with defence‑specific supply chain standards and operational models.
- Familiarity with technical documentation required for regulated defence programmes.
