Job Opportunity: SAP PMMO Consultant (Aerospace | Manufacturing & Production)

Location: Remote & 1 week of international travel per month – fully expensed

Contract Type: contract – immediate start – 12 months +

Rate: $100.00 per hour + expenses

We are seeking an experienced SAP PMMO (Production Manufacturing & Maintenance Operations) Consultant to support major transformation initiatives within the aerospace sector. ? About the RoleAs an SAP PMMO Consultant, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimising PMMO solutions to support end‑to‑end manufacturing and maintenance operations. This role involves deep collaboration with engineering, planning, production, and MRO teams to improve visibility, traceability, and efficiency across the aerospace value chain

Tasks

• Lead or support 2–3 full lifecycle SAP PMMO implementations, from blueprint through go‑live and hypercare
• Analyse aerospace and high‑complexity manufacturing requirements to design robust PMMO solutions
• Configure and optimise PMMO functionality, ensuring alignment with SAP S/4HANA and integration with related modules (e.g., PP, MM, QM, PM, iMRO)
• Drive improvements in serialised and non‑serialised production, order management, and maintenance operations
• Align PMMO processes with engineering change management, lot/batch control, and configuration management (CM) standards common in aerospace
• Support integration with MES, planning tools, and shop‑floor execution systems
• Deliver documentation, training materials, and knowledge transfer to functional and business teams
• Troubleshoot and resolve PMMO‑related issues, ensuring stability and performance

Requirements

Required Experience & Skills

• 2–3 full lifecycle SAP PMMO implementations (essential)
• Strong background in manufacturing and production, ideally within aerospace or other high‑complexity, regulated industries
• Deep understanding of PMMO functionality, including:
• Order orchestration & execution
• Component serialization & tracking
• Complex assembly & subassembly structures
• Maintenance & production integration
• Familiarity with aerospace requirements such as configuration control, traceability, and compliance
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA PMMO
• Exposure to digital manufacturing tools, MES, or PLM systems (e.g., Siemens Teamcenter, PTC Windchill)
• SAP certifications in relevant modules
• Work on cutting‑edge aerospace manufacturing and maintenance transformation projects
