As PLM Consultant you will provide hands-on technical and functional input to designing, maintaining, building, integrating, and testing new demands per functional and technical design specifications. While doing so you will release processes across different product teams and platforms. Responsibilities can be summed up to:
Full responsibility for end-to-end PLM module support including Engineering Change Management (ECM) and the management of Change Records, as well as integration with adjacent modules (e.g., MM, PP).
Carrying out process analyses and optimizations in close coordination and cooperation with the business department and product team to understand business needs and define the technical solution path for product lifecycle processes.
Partake in the decision-making processes for design and functionality, ensuring alignment with business needs and overall strategy, especially concerning product data and change management.
Design and implementation of business processes in SAP S/4HANA in the PLM area (e.g., Product Lifecycle Management, Engineering Change Management) with a strong focus on Change Records, through own responsibility for customizing and close coordination with the ABAP developers.
Supporting SAP projects such as implementations, migrations, optimizations and rollouts across all phases (conception, blue print phase, testing, go-live) within the PLM domain.
Supporting users and key users in the business area through 1st and 2nd level support across the Viega Group for PLM-related topics.
Ensuring reasonable technical documentations and giving guidance to the business team during User Acceptance Testing.
Work closely with all your colleagues from Business and IT in a global and cross-functional team in making sure all stakeholders are happy with the SAP landscape and that it supports their daily use, particularly regarding product data integrity and change processes.
You will work with skilled global and cross functional colleagues among our Solutions Architects, Developers, DevOps, QAs, and other administrators and consultants. Expect also to spend time on understanding complex business processes, discussing implementation approaches, defining technical concepts, and sharing your results with different stakeholders around the world.

Who are you?
You know how to configure and implement solutions in SAP S/4HANA related to Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), particularly focusing on Engineering Change Management (ECM) and the handling of Change Records.
Specific knowledge in customizing and debugging of ABAP code are part of your common skill set.
Your know-how and experience in implementing requirements in relevant SAP PLM modules (e.g., SAP Product Lifecycle Management, Engineering Change Management) round off your profile, especially concerning Change Records.
Your integration knowledge of other SAP modules such as MM or PP is welcome.

5+ years of experience as (SAP) PLM consultant
2+ years of experience in Engineering Change Management and Change Records.
Knowledge in ABAP debugging and development.
Knowledge of end-to-end business processes related to Product Lifecycle Management (e.g., "Idea-to-Product", "Engineering Change Management" processes).
