Your key responsibilities

1. Develop SAP Cloud applications with responsibility for DB layer on SAP BTP.
2. Establish and maintain development standards/best practices.
3. Design and review the DB architecture of enterprise applications leveraging industry best practices and design patterns to meet functional and non-functional requirements.
4. Work with product owners, architects, and business analysts to translate requirements into technical solutions.
5. Evangelize re-use through implementation of shared assets across multiple organizations.
6. Collaborate with stakeholders to estimate, prioritize, and plan work items to be handled during sprints and iterations.
7. Lead, mentor, and coach junior team members.
8. Collaborate with technology teams across EY Service Lines helping them implement a productized strategy, consuming existing components while also greatly enhancing the velocity of products through reuse.

Skills and attributes for success

1. 3+ years of relevant experience with SAP HANA.
2. Willingness to learn new and innovative SAP Cloud technologies and curiosity for discovering yet unexplored areas of SAP.
3. Data modeling and scripting experience including the ability to write complex stored procedures using SQL.
4. Administer data models in SAP HANA, including setting of information validation rules, managing schemas, and importing/exporting and transporting of data models.
5. Interest in understanding functional and industry business challenges.
6. Knowledge of CDS view and embedded analytics.
7. Good to have HANA upgrade or migration project experience.

Ideally, you’ll also have

1. Ability to handle ambiguity and move forward with imperfect information and get things done in a rapidly changing environment.
2. Comfortable working in an environment where ideas are challenged.
3. Good product instinct and excellent project management skills to push projects over the finish line with sound planning and persistent execution.
