We are looking for an experienced SAP GTS Consultant who will play a key role in supporting and developing foreign trade processes within our global SAP landscape. If you have a strong understanding of customs procedures, export control, and international trade compliance – this role offers the chance to contribute to impactful projects across regions and collaborate with internal teams and external partners worldwide.

Your role

• Provide support to business users across multiple regions in the area of foreign trade and customs compliance
• Ensure smooth operation of SAP-based international trade processes (SAP R/3 and GTS)
• Contribute to regional and global SAP GTS projects in close collaboration with internal teams and external partners
• Analyze and optimize business processes related to export control, customs, origin of goods, and preference handling
• Implement new requirements in the system, particularly around export control and sanctions list screening
• Configure SAP GTS solutions and prepare detailed functional specifications for developers
• Assist in the transition to the new SAP GTS Edition for HANA

Requirements

• Degree in business informatics, business administration, logistics, or a related field
• Hands-on experience in IT operations or project delivery, ideally in customs, export/import, or trade compliance areas
• Solid working knowledge of SAP GTS or a comparable trade compliance tool
• Familiarity with related SAP modules such as SD, MM, TM, or EWM is an advantage
• Strong command of English (German is a plus)
• Ability to read and understand ABAP code
• Independent, structured, and quality-focused approach to work
• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset, with the ability to work in agile, cross-functional teams
