We are looking for an experienced Senior SAP GRC Process Control Automation Architect to join a long-term, fully remote project. The role focuses on the design, implementation, and optimization of automation within the SAP GRC Process Control (PC) module. The consultant will act as a technical and functional lead for Process Control automation, configuration, and troubleshooting, working closely with business stakeholders and technical teams.

The project involves advanced Continuous Control Monitoring (CCM), complex automation rules, workflow configuration, and ongoing support of SAP GRC Process Control solutions.

SAP GRC Process Control Automation Architect

Your responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain automation rules and logic for controls in SAP GRC Process Control
• Build and enhance configurable and ABAP report-based automated controls
• Translate business requirements into robust SAP Process Control automation solutions
• Troubleshoot and correct existing and newly developed automation rules
• Support and troubleshoot SAP Process Control workflows, parameters, and configuration objects
• Provide support for SAP Process Control work items, including workflow issue analysis
• Configure and maintain Process Control master data (Organizations, Central Process Hierarchy)
• Support Continuous Control Monitoring (CCM), including full lifecycle of automated controls
• Analyze and resolve issues related to data connectors, business rules, and data sources
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure solution stability and compliance readiness

Our requirements

• Minimum 8 years of experience in SAP GRC implementation and support
• Proven hands-on experience with SAP GRC Process Control and Access Control modules
• Advanced expertise in SAP Process Control automation rules implementation
• Strong knowledge and practical usage of BRF+ (mandatory)
• Experience with multiple implementations of configurable and ABAP-based automated controls
• Deep understanding of SAP authorization concepts and security best practices
• Ability to design end-to-end CCM scenarios, including:
• Data source configuration
• Business rule creation
• Automated control testing and monitoring
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and within distributed teams
• Fluent English (spoken and written)
• Advanced knowledge of SAP Process Control configuration, including:
• Workflow setup and optimization
• New regulation integration
• Custom entity roles configuration
• Custom fields configuration
• Hands-on experience with workflow review and troubleshooting via Fiori and ABAP backend
• Hands-on experience with SQL and SAP authorization traces
• Practical troubleshooting of common Process Control issues (failed rules, connector errors, data inconsistencies)
• ODATA services activation and maintenance
• SAP Notes implementation
• GRC BW services and data objects activation and maintenance
• Web services configuration, monitoring, and log analysis
• Basic database administration knowledge
• SAP GRC certification is an advantage but not required
• ABAP and Fiori debugging skills
• ABAP / Fiori / WebDynpro development experience
