For our customer, a leader in consulting, technology services, and digital transformation, we are looking for a SAP FICO Consultant with knowledge of German to join our team and support a German client in the public sector. This role is ideal for a skilled professional with at least 5 years of experience in SAP FI/CO and designing solutions for finance business processes.

Project scope:
- Functional Consultant specializing in CO/Product Costing, Profitability Analysis, and Inventory Accounting, with experience in management reporting.
- Work closely with customer controlling stakeholders to gather and clarify functional requirements for various reporting needs.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications for the development team.
- Ensure a clear understanding of use cases, business scenarios, risks, dependencies, and assumptions related to reporting requirements
- Plan and tailor the customer's cloud migration journey while maintaining global scalability and consistency
- Lead and facilitate workshops/meetings with internal and external clients
- Participate in the transition planning of customer solution landscapes
- Provide support for escalated projects and take on (sub-)project or team leadership responsibilities for service delivery
- Demonstrate a continuous learning mindset to enhance personal skills and professional expertise
- Adapt to changing requirements, deadlines, and ambiguity while maintaining high-quality outcomes
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in SAP FI/CO within development and implementation projects
- Proven expertise in designing solutions for finance business processes
- Ability to collaborate directly with Global Business Process Owners
- Strong experience in SAP FI/CO module configuration and custom solution development
- Knowledge of SAP SAC or SAP PaPM technologies is a plus
- Experience with SAP BW reporting would be an asset
- Fluent in English and German (B2 level required)
- Experience in integrating SAP FI/CO with other modules
- Background in working within virtual teams and international environments
- Expertise in developing profitability and performance reporting
- Experience working with clients in the German public sector
