About the Role

We are looking for an experienced SAP EAM Lead Consultant / Architect to lead end-to-end SAP Enterprise Asset Management implementations for large, complex organizations. This role combines deep technical expertise with strong business consulting and stakeholder management skills. You will act as a trusted advisor, shaping SAP EAM architecture and guiding clients through digital transformation projects in asset-intensive industries.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end SAP EAM implementation projects, including solution design, system configuration, and integrations.

• Define SAP EAM architecture and ensure alignment with business requirements and industry best practices.

• Provide expert-level consulting across SAP S/4HANA Asset Management, Plant Maintenance (PM), Materials Management (MM), and Sales & Distribution (SD).

• Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to create functional specifications and ensure seamless module integration.

• Drive data migration and data harmonization strategies for asset management processes.

• Support custom developments and extensions, including solutions built on platforms such as Mendix.

• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements, with a strong focus on rail sector best practices.

• Act as a trusted advisor, supporting clients with solution selection, implementation roadmaps, and optimization strategies.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Extensive experience as an SAP EAM Consultant or Architect in large-scale implementations.

• Deep knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Asset Management, including PM, MM, and SD (QM is a plus).

• Proven track record as a Lead Consultant in full-cycle SAP EAM projects.

• Strong understanding of SAP integration points and third-party system integrations.

• Experience with Mendix or other low-code platforms for SAP extensions.

• Industry experience in rail or other asset-intensive sectors (ProRail experience is highly desirable).

• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and consulting skills.

• Strong ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
