About the project
The “Data Migration (DM) Specialist” is a techno-functional Subject Matter Expert (SME), whose role is primarily to support the local business teams in the deployment locations with regards to their data migration responsibilities.
This role is located in Warsaw and directed to candidates willing and eligible to travel globally up to 40% of time.
We are looking for specialists, each working vertically in one of the following functional area:
- WM (Warehouse Management)
- FI/CO (Finance & Controlling)
- PR (Procurement)
- PM (Plant Maintenance)
The vertical aspect of the role means that within the functional area, the DM Specialist is responsible end-to-end for all activities that are required in order to fully operate in the target ERP system (SAP ECC 6.0).
Your responsibilities
- Target business unit data profiling (Pre-deployment)
- Early data preparation (Pre-deployment)
- Data source filtering criteria definition
- Migration rules design / documentation and handover to the data platforms team
- Data preparation techno-functional support & escalation (using the standard DM platform)
- Testing & Training data sets definition support
- Full end-to-end data defects management
- Trial Load superuser support
- LSMW programs change design requirement and handover to the data platforms team
- Data loads execution using LSMW programs
- Superuser validation and reconciliation support up to formal sign-off
Our requirements
- SAP project implementations in a global environment
- SAP project delivery experience as Data Migration Lead in a global environment
- SAP broad technical and functional expertise
- Advanced project management skills in complex governed environments
- Experience in managing multi-cultural teams of consultants
- Ownership, commitment, pro-activity, resilience and problem sorting focused are the main 5 key soft skills, on top of which:
- Excellent communication and presentation skills (fluent English is compulsory)
- Experience of managing stakeholders at all levels across the organisation
- Fast learner and autonomous
- Able to easily interface and collaborate with a diverse group of individuals
- Having a “can-do” pro-active approach and style of operation is an absolute must
- Excellent team player
