What we expect

Technical Skills

• Strong experience withSAP Commerce CloudandComposable Storefront (Spartacus).

• Strong computer science fundamentals (algorithms, data structures, complexity, software design principles)

• Proficiencyin JavaScript/TypeScript, Angular, HTML/CSS, React.

• Experience with Java/Spring in SAPCommercebackend development.

• Experience with REST/GraphQLAPIs and CI/CD (Azure DevOps, Git).

Interpersonal &MethodologicalSkills

• Strong analytical andproblemsolvingcapabilities.

• Excellentstakeholder management andcommunication skills; ability to simplify technical topics.

• Proven mentoring and coaching skills.

• Experience managing and reviewing external vendors.

• Comfortable working in agile environments (Scrum/DevOps).

• Excellent command of English; German proficiency is considered a plus

Your tasks

• Designand evolvefuture-proof frontendarchitectureswithin the SAP ecosystem.

• Build andoptimizeefficient, scalable frontend development processes and CI/CD pipelines.

• Translate businessuse-cases into technical requirements

• Develop and customize frontends using SAP Commerce Cloud Composable Storefront (Spartacus).

• Implement full‑stack features and business logic within the SAP Commerce ecosystem.

• Design andmaintainintegrations between SAP Commerce and Azure backend services (REST/GraphQL, Azure Functions, API Management).

• Ensure performance, security, and stability across the platform and integrations.

• Contribute to architectural decisions and continuous improvement of the SAP Commerce landscape.

• Gradually take responsibility forselectedSAPCommercebased applications/portals as a future Service Manager.

• Oversee service quality, incident handling, and operational processes for assigned applications.
• Mentor junior and mid‑leveldevelopers;share best practices and ensure coding standards.
• Steerexternal vendors and development partners.
• Conduct quality control on vendor deliverables to ensure compliance with internal standards.
