We are looking for an experienced SAP Basis Administrator to join our growing SAP Competence Center in Warsaw. As a subject matter expert in SAP Basis administration, you will ensure the stability, performance, and reliability of our SAP landscape, working closely with cross-functional IT teams across the business. This is a great opportunity to influence the design and evolution of our SAP infrastructure while contributing to enterprise-level projects.
responsibilities :
Install, configure, monitor, and troubleshoot SAP systems and associated databases in line with defined SLAs
Manage and monitor the operating systems and technical infrastructure supporting all SAP environments
Provide expert SAP Basis support and technical guidance to other SAP functional and technical teams
Collaborate with IT Operations to implement controls for new technologies and ensure high availability and recoverability
Plan and execute SAP transport management, patching, upgrades, and enhancement package deployments
Support weekend and off-hours maintenance activities to uphold system availability and security standards
Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours emergency SAP support
Mentor and guide internal colleagues and external contractors within the SAP Basis/Auths team
requirements-expected :
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
5+ years of hands-on experience in SAP Basis administration, including system upgrades and transport management
2+ years of SAP HANA database administration including tuning, upgrading, and performance optimization
3+ years of experience with relational databases such as MS SQL Server
Strong background supporting SAP systems in Windows environments; familiarity with Linux (SUSE) is a plus
Experience with enterprise-scale SAP implementations and migrations
SAP Certification and exposure to SAP Solution Manager are considered strong assets
Excellent collaboration skills, with the ability to support, guide, and occasionally act as deputy on SAP Basis topics
