Project scope:

• Set up, configure, and manage various SAP systems, including SAP ERP and SAP S/4HANA
• Oversee SAP database administration, monitoring, and performance tuning
• Monitor system performance, ensuring optimal availability and reliability
• Apply necessary patches, updates, and security configurations to safeguard system integrity
• Conduct system backups, plan for disaster recovery, and restore data as needed
• Use ABAP scripts and other tools to automate routine administrative tasks
• Maintain virtualized SAP environments
• Enhance system security through effective management of access controls, permissions, and antivirus measures
• Implement and oversee network services related to SAP
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with SAP servers, hardware, and network connectivity
• Partner with IT and DevOps teams to facilitate SAP application deployments and ongoing maintenance
• Keep comprehensive documentation on system configurations, processes, and troubleshooting methods
• Provide SAP support in collaboration with French-speaking clients and partners

Minimum Requirements:

• Over 3 years of experience in SAP system administration
• Extensive background in SAP Basis, database management, and SAP server infrastructure
• Skilled in installing, configuring, and managing SAP systems (such as SAP ERP, SAP S/4HANA)
• In-depth understanding of SAP Basis, including user and transport management and system monitoring
• Experience with SAP server virtualization platforms like VMware and Hyper-V
• Practical experience with automation and scripting in SAP environments (using ABAP, shell scripts, etc.)
• Familiarity with SAP-supported databases, such as Oracle, SQL Server, and HANA
• Knowledge of backup solutions and disaster recovery planning for SAP systems
• Strong grasp of SAP security protocols, including patching and access management
• Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic abilities
• Strong communication skills and proven ability to work collaboratively
• Proficiency in French and English
