Responsibilities:
- Draft, design and implement program components, taking into account the framework conditions and requirements (technology, IT governance, architecture, security).
- Create and implement test scenarios that ensure the acceptance criteria of the function of the program components, and execute deployments on respective systems.
- Assess and improve program effectiveness and efficiency based on your experience, and continuously refactor existing components in consultation with the process teams.
- Ensure code quality by performing code reviews and pair programming; responsible for organization and implementation of know-how transfers among colleagues.
- Design, adapt, implement, and manage deployments on respective systems according to your experience.
- Manage QA for review and approve/release code implementations of other suppliers.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of professional experience within the SAP Development area.
- Extensive experience in ABAP development for EWM and/or TM – this will be your main area of activities.
- Experience in modern development methods and tools (e.g., continuous integration, automated testing, development in the cloud).
- Knowledge of ABAP OO, ALE and ODATA, Migration Tools like LSMW, S/4 HANA, BOPF, Web Services, SOAP, REST Interfaces.
- Effective communication skills and assertiveness.
- Team skills combined with a high level of initiative and motivation.
- Fluent business English.
