Skill Profile :

ITIL Foundation is preferred.

Working knowledge of a SAM Tool (Snow Software).

Working knowledge of SQL DB and queries.

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Regular provision of information about the installed/used software on all assets (client, server, host, etc.)
• Understanding of scripting and XML.
• Import Devices data with all necessary information.
• Preparing Entitlement and Deployment reports for clients.
• Good understanding of how Infrastructure of the Tool solution works (Database – SQL Server & Oracle, Servers, etc.).
• T/S on Agent inventory and data source connections.
• Installing Snow Agents on Windows and UNIX Servers (its flavors).
• Upgrading Snow Tool.
• Validate the data coming in Snow from different data sources and take necessary action to fix it in case of any discrepancy.
• Configure scheduled jobs/CRON Jobs.
• Able to create signature/recognition rules.
• Create custom license metrics based on the software licensing model.
• Comprehend and interpret complex software licensing agreements and maintenance contracts.
• Assisting in Software Asset Management (SAM) audits.
• Able to download the Latest version of Tool Catalog and update it in the environments.
